On this page, you will find links to allergy-friendly foods from across the internet as well as member-submitted recipes free from various allergens.  A list of which top 8 allergens each recipe is free from will directly follow the name with this code: M= Milk, E= Eggs, W= Wheat/Gluten, S=Soy, P= Peanuts, T=Tree Nuts, F= Fish/Shellfish.  An asterisk means that substitutions can be made to allow a recipe to not include that allergen.

Microwave Brownies (W*, M, E, S, P, T, F): Serves 1

In a medium mug, combine 1/3 cup safe flour*, 1/3 cup white sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 3 tbsp water, 2 tbsp of canola oil, and 1tbsp of safe mini chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed. Microwave  mug on high power for 75 seconds.  Let cool and enjoy!

Banana Nice Cream (M*, E, W, S, P, T, F): Serves 1

Slice one ripe banana and place in freezer safe Ziploc bag.  Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight. Place frozen bananas in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth (3 to 5 minutes).  The addition of milk or a nondairy substitute can help speed up the process. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer to increase firmness.  For more flavor, try adding toppings or blend in some diced strawberries or cocoa powder.

Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips (W*, M, E, S, P, T, F): Serves ~6

Fruit Salsa: Dice safe fruits into small chunks (recommended fruits: 2-3 apples, 4 kiwis, 1 pint of strawberries, 1 pineapple, 2 mangos), and coat with 2 tbsp. of lemon juice, 1 tbsp. of cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of sugar.
Cinnamon Chips: Cut four 8″ tortilla of choice into sixths and place on foil lined cooking sheets. Spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with 2tbsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar mixture. Bake at 350F for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown.

Muddy Buddies (W, M, E, S, P, T, F): Serves ~8

Pour 4.5 cups of corn chex into a gallon ziploc bag.  In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup of enjoy life chocolate chips and 2 tbsp of canola oil and melt in the microwave.   Stir in 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Add mixture to the corn chex and shake until coated.  Then add 3/4 cup of powdered sugar to the bag and shake until coated.
